Job Summary:
Reporting to the Controller, the IT Manager will support all IT infrastructure for the organization including Hardware, Software, and Security Management. Based in our Denver office, the role will oversee all IT needs for the Home Office as well as over 40 remote locations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, implement robust security measures, and provide top-notch support to our distributed team. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle complex, multi-site environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Management
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware systems, laptops, printers, and network devices
• Manage hardware inventory, procurement, and upgrades for the corporate office and remote locations
• Coordinate with remote offices to ensure timely delivery and setup of IT equipment
Software Management
• Install, configure, and update business-critical software applications
• Oversee software licensing, compliance, and renewals
• Provide end-user training and support for software usage and troubleshooting
Security Management
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing across all locations
• Manage user access control and data protection measures in compliance with organizational policies and regulations
Network Infrastructure
• Maintain and optimize network connectivity for the corporate and remote offices, ensuring minimal downtime
• Configure and monitor VPNs, routers, and switches to support secure remote access
• Respond to and resolve network-related incidents promptly
Support & Training
• Provide Tier1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 technical support for IT issues across all locations
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized technical support as needed
• Create documentation, guides, and training materials for end-users and IT processes
Project Management
• Plan and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to management
Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration, preferably in a multi-site environment
• Proficiency in managing Windows environments
• Experience with clout platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar
• Strong knowledge or network protocols, VPNs, and firewalls
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to travel on occasion to remote office locations
• Willingness to provide on-call support during critical incidents
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus
